Your requirements
‘Decisions, decisions……’
It is not always easy to define in advance exactly what is required from a web site project, and how the site should look and behave
- How, for example, can the site best help the business flourish?
- Which pages should be incorporated?
- What will be the overall page layout?
- How will web site users navigate from page to page?
Assistance is therefore available to help clients fill the gaps. Assumptions, for example, can be tested through careful questioning; and consideration of alternative design options can be prompted during the early stages of the project.
But what if requirements still cannot be fully defined? Essential facts may initially be forgotten, circumstances might change, pages when loaded may not look exactly as was anticipated, text may need re-wording, and images that in the mind’s eye seemed wholly appropriate, may not be so when seen on a web page.
Well, in recognition of just these potential difficulties, we always adopt a flexible approach to evolving requirements, accommodating wherever practical mid-project 'changes of mind' to ensure that the completed web site meets requirements at the end of the process, and not just requirements as first anticipated.
